WHO IS BO HENRIK?

Emerging RnB/Pop artist Bo Henrik hails from a small town in southern Sweden. His sound is a mix of soulful chords, hard low-end and catchy hooks. Straight out of high school he started writing hooks for a successful independent hip hop label. Within the first months he wrote a single that went gold for Rapper Nineb Youk and another record for Willow. After writing with local artists for a year, he was sponsored for the REO songwriting retreats in British Columbia, Canada. Songwriter Bryan Fogelman flew him out to write and train with hit-writers from Los Angeles and Nashville. Building off of this momentum he spent 2 years going from house to house, couchsurfing and writing with new artists around the west coast from down in California up to British Columbia. During this time he was slowly evolving his style and coming up with the songs that would later be released in 2020 together with an outdoor live project called the ice cream truck.

These outdoor shows managed to amass crowds of hundreds of people for Bo Henriks original music and show every weekend by 2021 and together with this momentum the streams started taking off for Bo as well. The first single “Take Me To The Sunlight” hit top 5 on one of the Itunes pop charts and top 20 all genres in South Africa. This music video reached 70 000 views after which he pushed a string of singles throughout the summer. His next music video was also played on Global News and press around western Canada was starting to notice the buzz from this new RnB scene in the city.

He recently signed his first 2 singles deal through 604 Records song camp, “Soneva” being the first of the two singles. This show also raised $1100 for safe testing in Vancouver and created momentum into Bo Henrik & The Supermrkt’s (his live band and team) first North American Tour together with Toronto based group Yassin & Sean Terrio.
